The Corporation of the Municipality of Oliver PaiPoonge
Cion Corp., along with NORR, were retained by The Corporation of the Municipality of Oliver PaiPoonge to conduct a Building Condition Assessment (BCA). The municipality is situated west of Thunder Bay, Ontario. The BCA covered six fire stations and two public works garages.
The objective of this BCA was to document the current condition of the building envelope systems, building interior, mechanical and electrical systems and to forecast the future capital expenditures over a 10-year period.
The Building Condition Assessment provided:
- An assessment of the need for repair and rehabilitation of building systems and components.
- A strategic assessment of the current and long-range physical condition and remaining useful life of each component.
- Provided a forecast of capital replacement and repair recommendations and probable cost estimates.
The project was completed on schedule.
